The 10th November networking event will have the theme of Websites that Work and will feature talks by Aileen Power, Head of Content with Wolfgang Digital and colleagues and Susanne Dirks, MD of e-Vorsprung. (See below for more details). These talks are aimed at providing you with insights into how you can get better business results from your web presence, including in international markets.
Attendees will be seated at round tables to facilitate informal networking and the talks will be followed by networking over tea and coffee.
SEO in a nutshell - and how to crack it
Speakers: Aileen Power with Sarah Grogan & Roisin Linnie from Wolfgang Digital
Three members of the Wolfgang Digital content marketing team will be on hand to explain how to get more organic (free) traffic from Google, and how to make traffic do what you want it to on your site. Starting with an introduction to search engine optimization (SEO), the presentation will cover landing page optimization, online reviews and video content with lots of handy tips along the way.
Aileen is Head of Content in Wolfgang Digital. She has promoted everything from ankle boots to entire countries in her digital marketing career, working with brands including Tourism Ireland, Littlewoods Ireland and 123.ie. She'll be joined by YouTube extraordinaire Roisin Linnie and Google+ expert Sarah Grogan. Wolfgang Digital is Ireland's fastest-growing independent digital marketing agency. Susanne will talk about how Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) is different for export markets and what other aspects need to be considered.
Susanne (ie.linkedin.com/in/susannedirks is an international business and Internet consultant with extensive experience and qualifications in translation/localisation, IT and web technologies, internet marketing, and business innovation. After 20 years of working as a consultant and manager for technology MNCs across Europe, Susanne set up her own business, e-Vorsprung Consulting (www.evorsprung.com). Susanne assists Irish SME companies in fully leveraging the Internet for marketing and sales, creating a compelling and competitive web presence that stands out and can easily be found by prospective target customers. With her international background and experience, Susanne’s special focus is on helping Irish companies with using the Internet for export sales and marketing, in particular in the UK and her native Germany. Drawing on her understanding of the different business environments and cultures as well as her knowledge of and experience in translation, localisation, IT and internet marketing, Susanne helps Irish SMEs develop and implement an approach that optimises their web presence in these foreign markets, thus opening up new opportunities and increasing sales abroad.
